Imagine if John Waters had created Hello Kitty or if Sailor Moon was directed by Ed Wood. The Camp Site combines all the best style from the 50s, 60s, 80s, and 90s!
In case you haven’t guessed it yet – our name combines the word “Camp” (something so outrageously artificial, affected, or out-of-date as to be considered amusing) with “Camp Site” (Where you sleep outside, crap in the woods and get covered in bugs. yuck!)
The Camp Site is dedicated to making limited run items and one of a kind pieces. We pride ourselves on pushing the boundaries of our creativity by using vintage and upcylced items coupled with high quality fabrics and materials. We value the environmental aspects of reusing items and use this principal to bring unique pieces to life. Though we are able to replicate certain pieces, for the most part – each item listed is one of a kind.
With the exception of our sublimation printed items and our varsity jackets – each of our garments is cut, constructed and sewn by Megan and Matthew in their home studio in Virginia, USA. Know that by purchasing from our business you are directly supporting us and our art.
