Where else is a better place to serve classic fifties diner fashion than Silver Diner? For those of you who don’t have one of these “classic” establishments near them – here is a little backstory: Silver Diner is an American chain of restaurants local to the Mid-Atlantic area. The original Silver Diner opened in 1989 in Rockville, Maryland. Over the years the management and menu options have changed (recently: for the better! They serve vegan-friendly food now!)
The style and decor of Silver Diner is that of the “classic American diner” through the ages – there are elements of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s in the architecture, music selection, and styling. This is why it is a perfect backdrop for the Campsite’s Camp Café collection!
Thanks to our friends: Sasha, from the podcast Spoop Hour, and her beau Jack, from Pop Culture Bento, for letting us take them with us and putting up with our goofy shenanigans.

Also, as always, check out what’s still available from The Camp Cafe on the collection page.
